50km race

 2 laps of the 25km course out in the beautiful surrounds of the Trawalla state forest is just what the soul of an ultra runner needs. From rolling hills to amazing wild life, this course is an adventure from start to finish. Designed to suit both the most hardened trail pro and the first time warrior, its wide dirt tracks offer a chance for everyone to enjoy. A sharp, but harsh climb toward the end of each loop will leave you breathless in more ways than one! A great way to introduce yourself to the ultra distance as well as a chance to set out a quick time on constant peaks and descents! 

Like its bigger brother, the 25km offers all the excitement of the 50 albeit only being one loop. Suited for beginners to advanced, this course is set to put down a quick time! However, don’t let that fool you. Its constant undulating terrain will test your climbing legs. This course rummages through the altering terrain of Trawalla state forest and captures all of its beauty. A must for the first timer! A definite for the seasoned campaigner!

Starting off with a solid loop of Lake Beaufort, this mid distance race combines the right amount of speed and hills! Dipping off into the borders of Trawalla state forest, the 10km race will have you breathing hard and heavy legged by the time you cross the line! With a solid bush bash straight up some long inclines, this course offers stunning views of bush land and the surroundings of Beaufort. A great way to experience the beauty of The Pyrenees Shire.

The shortest of the lot, but one filled with character. Stunning lake views matched with one hell of a quick climb on the border of Trawalla state forest, this course holds back no punches. A chance to delve into the surrounds whilst offering the most eager racer a chance to “send it!” If you love running, you’ll love this race!
